Job Description

BOH Kitchen Crew/Cook

Poke Theory is expanding and we’re looking for cheery, hardworking and charismatic individuals to be a part of our energetic & dynamic team!

 

 

Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

 

– Prepare ingredients in line with food hygiene & halal compliant standards and procedures

– Preparing and cooking of Hot and Cold bases

– Innovating new Poke flavours and sauces; seasonal flavours

– Prepare Ingredients for Poke Bowls

– Cutting of fruits & vegetables

– Cutting and preparation of protein

– Preparation/Cooking of house sauces

– Marinating of Poke

– Baking

– Placing Orders with suppliers and Stock taking

– Ensure kitchen cleanliness is maintain to standard, rules & regulations needed to be followed (safety precautions)

– Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients

– Assist in any ad-hoc tasks whenever necessary

 

Job Requirements

 

– Minimum 1 year of experience in F&B industry and must have worked in the kitchen

– Must have a valid WSQ Food Hygiene Certificate

– Be experienced and effective in the kitchen for ingredients and food produce preparation

– Able to multitask between preparing and cooking different food

– Able to work in a team and alone with positive attitude

– Willing to learn. Good integrity and personality.

– Able to comply with Food Hygiene & Halal Regulations
