Job Description

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Learning and Development
  • To support the Learning & Development (L&D) function and meet the business needs of UEMS so as to achieve the objectives of the company
  • To be responsible for the total company training plan (planned and ad-hoc) based on business needs
  • To ensure that the administration of the L&D function is kept up to date
  • To maintain and provide L&D data and statistics for employees’ training records
  • To prepare pre and post-training reports for management review
  • To prepare, review and maintain training records and other certifications in line with ISO procedures for L&D function
  • To upload courses on UETrack LMS and monitor course enrollments and attendance by learners
  • To organise and arrange customised training and personal development courses for employees
  • To support the development of training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials
  • To assist in training logistics classroom setup (projector and equipment) for training conduct
  • To assist with the blended learning technologies for learners
  • To tap and administer the various government training funds (SSG funding and Absentee payroll funding)
  • To be responsible for the update & continuous development of the L&D handbook
  • To co-train training sessions to learners where applicable

Talent Development, Communication and Engagement

  • To coordinate, place and administer the various government programmes (WSG SGUnited Traineeships, PCP, Work Study Programmes)
  • To be responsible for the placement and management of interns within company
  • Participate in career fairs organised by institutions of higher learning (Universities, Polytechnics, ITE)
  • To support ad-hoc duties such as Teambuilding, CSR events
  • To assist in the production of the bi-annual internal newsletter
  • Degree in Human Resource Development / Business Administration or related
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Multi-tasking and excellent follow-up skills
  • Competent in IT applications (Ms Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
  • Ability in preparing detailed, concise reports and presentations
